Why am I being charged an Environmental Stewardship Fee (ESF) on hair services?
We are a proud Certified Sustainable salon partnering with Green Circle Salons since 2015. The environmental stewardship fee collected is used to cover the ongoing program costs of recycling and repurposing all beauty waste that leaves our salon, preventing them from ending up in a landfill or waterway. The waste are then turned into new products or energy. GCS recovered up to 95% of the beauty waste and 100% of the PPE waste.
